My dilemma

I'm so damn fickle. I can't not figure out how I want to start off my locs. Right now I'm debating between braids and comb coils. The braids will give me length and not unravel much whenever I wash, however, it takes awhile for the braid pattern to go away. The comb coils are super cute and I've read they lock faster but there is the issue of unraveling with every wash. Now I have no clue how the coils will work with my hair. I feel like my hair is tightly coiled but I also feel like they would fall out. I'd like to be able to wash my hair without going to my loctician. I see braidlocs that are awesome and I see comb coils that are awesome. I guess this is something I'll have to figure out when I go for my consultation next month. I'll discuss the concerns with the loctician.
