Well not really. But sometime last year, I was trying to figure out what phone I should get. I had my heart set on the htc touch pro 2 and that was my decision up until the week of purchase. So I did a last minute switch to the Palm Pre Plus. It's a pretty kick ass phone. I have yet to customize it with patches and whatnot, but I'm enjoying it as is so far. It's basically a touch phone with a slide out qwerty keyboard. I say mainly touch because there is no trackball or dpad or anything like that to move a cursor on screen or anything like that. But I love it so far. I did have a problem with my keyboard last week but a battery pull solved that. Most of my helpful information comes from the Pre central site (can be found here http://www.precentral.net/ )and of course I'm on the pre forum on there as well. If anyone is looking to purchase a pre, make sure you do your research on the forum before hand.
Some of the apps I have on here so far (all freebies) are hangman, checkers, the weather channel, tweefree, asphalt 5 free (kick ass 3d demo of the full paid version), friendsbook (could be better), pandora, the l.a. times and a comic app. The app store isn't that extensive but I don't mind considering I didn't have a whole lot of apps on my blackberry. I have seen posts on the forum about people complaining about the lack of apps (mainly folks coming from the iphone). But developers are coming out with apps daily.
