Sssssssssssy Smith!!!!

I finally got to see Sy Smith live. I was like uber juiced. I mean lowkey trying to control the big ass grin on my face when she came on stage. I'm a huge fan. I've been following her since '05 or '06. I remember being at my grandmother's house and her video for "Fa Sho" came on BETJ. So of course when I got back to my apt I looked her up and since then I've been a fan.

Anywho she did a free show out here in L.A. and she rocked the hell out of the stage. She sang her ass off and her band was the shit. There was this guy who was playing the guitar and when it came to his solo... he played the FUCK out of that guitar. I loved it. The whole band and Sy were rockin' out on stage. There was a guy on bass who reminded me of a chocolate Andre 3000 with locs. He was smiling the whole time on stage. It was awesome. lol

But the show that she put on... I could have easily paid for. I can't wait until she performs out here in L.A. again because I'm so going. Even if I have to go by myself again.

Anywho, I got video of her on stage. It was a bit shaky because I was dancing in my chair. I couldn't help myself and be still. But I'm glad I was able to get the little bit on camera that I could.
